The Latimojong Range, located in the southern part of Toraja, region of South Sulawesi has several peaks in the eight to eleven thousand feet range including Mount RanteMario, the highest mountain in Sulawesi, with an elevation of 11.280 ft. ( 3,438 Meters ) .Before starting your trek you have to take an overnight at Pasui villlage via the route of Karangan Village ( 1,450 meters ). Tent should be prepared to set on the summit camp ( 3,194 meters ) and along th way climbing to the summit, this trek will be offering a striking landscape of mountains, jungle and beautiful farmlands.

 

If you've ever wanted to experience the deep, strange world of the rainforest, Indonesia is one of the best countries to do it. The jungles here are the oldest in the world; vast tracts are still untouched; the biodiversity is mind-boggling; and in isolated Irian Jaya local people have changed little since the Stone Age.
